Become a member

With the monthly contribution of your choosing, become a member of Anidan and participate in the comprehensive care we offer to our children. The members form the basis that guarantees our existence, help in all programs, and contribute to maintaining the Shelter and our participation in the Children’s Hospital.

We will send you regular information about the development of the project. If you wish, you can contribute with your ideas and suggestions to improve our work.

SPONSOR

Sponsorships ensure care for an individual child. The sponsor covers the cost of the medical care, personal attention, accommodation and the rest of the sponsored child’s basic needs. The only remaining expenses are education, which are financed by Scholarships or an Education Fund.

The sponsor initially receives a general report and one annually thereafter, as well as updated photographs to follow the development and growth of the child.

You can sponsor a child from €35 per month.

SCHOLARSHIP

The financing of the education is not covered by the sponsors, it is done through private Scholarships to students or through an Education Fund for those who do not have a scholarship.

Early childhood education costs €25 per child per month (€300 per year).
Primary education costs €25 per student per month (€300 per year).

Secondary education costs €45 per student per month (€540 per year).
Professional education costs €85 per student per month (€1,020 per year).
University education costs €165 per student per month (€1,980 per year).

You can make any donations you want to the Education Fund. You may grant a scholarship to a child or several, in all cases you will receive an initial report and annually thereafter with photos of the children.

The Kenyan government has included a fourth quarter in 2021 and 2022 because of the delay in studies due to Covid-19. This quarter is not covered by the sponsors, so Anidan is forced to face an extraordinary expense that it was not counting on.

Currently, the Anidan Home has:

37 children in Preschool
131 in Primary
64 in Secondary
38 in Professional and Higher Education
1 in Special Education
10 in their Internship year

Therefore, we need to increase the contributions of education Sponsors to help us cover this expense that reaches €27,000.

It is critical to understand the extra effort Anidan is making to prevent more cases of marriages of convenience and unwanted pregnancies, especially in Secondary, which have increased during the pandemic.

To do this, we must send students to other areas to complete their studies, especially girls, who are more vulnerable in this case.

Donate

Donate the amount you choose. Your contribution will be an essential help for the development and even survival of our Shelter, the care of orphans and abandoned children, and the fight against extreme poverty.

With donations we cover deficits, tend to emergencies, and address new constructions and programs, or expand current ones.

If you would like your company to help and also benefit from the deductions stated in Law 49/1992 of the Tax Regime for Non-Profit Entities, you can simply make a donation or we can sign a collaboration agreement in which your employees can also get involved.

If you are an employee of a company with a Corporate Social Responsibility program—to which we can present a project—do not hesitate, please contact us. We will prepare all the documentation and material, adapting to your company’s model so that all you have to do is introduce us, it will not take much time.
